background: Phenylethanolamine N-methyltransferase, PNMT, catalyzes the synthesis of epinephrine from norepinephrine, (adrenalin from noradrenalin), in catecholamine biosynthesis. Function: Converts noradrenaline to adrenaline. Similarity: Belongs to the NNMT/PNMT/TEMT family.
